For US Shopify stores

We find where AI shopping agents give up on your Shopify store, and fix it.

The free check reads public pages only. Fixes are optional, and you approve each one. We run 24 shopping tasks against your store's public pages with Claude and Gemini, draft the smallest fix, and keep it only if a re-test passes. You approve every change with one tap.

Free check: no store access, public pages only. Report within 1 business day.
Monitor: one Shopify collaborator invite, limited to themes, removable anytime.

  • Public pages only. Nothing bought.
  • Fixes drafted on a preview theme and checked
  • One-tap approval, every fix reversible

How it works

Three steps. You approve what goes live.

  1. 1

    Free check

FixTheBuy runs 24 shopping tasks (12 missions on 2 AI agents) on your store's public pages. Free check: no store access, public pages only. Nothing bought. Report within 1 business day.

  2. 2

    Draft the smallest fix

FixTheBuy drafts the smallest fix and checks it before you see it. Theme-level fixes (structured data, theme text) go on an unpublished preview theme. For policy wording and product data, FixTheBuy hands you the exact wording to paste.

  3. 3

    Re-test, keep what works

It runs the same tasks again and discards fixes that don't help. You see only the ones that proved out, and approve with one tap. Every kept fix can be rolled back.

Example finding

One sentence can stop a sale.

Shipping policy

Does free shipping cover Hawaii? The store's pages disagree.

Agent couldn't confirm

Sample: based on a real audit of a US apparel store (name withheld), public pages only. Store wording is paraphrased (example wording). No fix was applied.

Shopper task
Ship utility pants to ZIP 96813 (Honolulu). Does free Standard shipping over $100 apply?
Before
Example wording: "Free Standard delivery (4–6 business days) on US orders above $100"
"…usually 4–6 business days to the lower 48 states"

The assistant quoted both lines, said the Hawaii cost is unknown, and would not invent a rate. The shopper gets "I can't confirm" instead of a yes.

Fix
One sentence on the shipping page: say whether Hawaii and Alaska get free Standard over $100, a stated surcharge, or rates at checkout.
Re-test
Re-test: not run on this sample

FAQ

Questions store owners ask

Do you need access to my store?

Free check: no store access, public pages only. We buy nothing. Monitor: one Shopify collaborator invite, limited to themes, removable anytime. It lets FixTheBuy draft theme-level fixes (structured data, theme text) on an unpublished preview theme. FixTheBuy never edits your policies or product data; for those, it hands you the exact wording to paste.

What do you test?

Real shopping tasks a buyer would hand an AI assistant: finding the right product and variant, price, shipping, returns and stock. The free check runs 12 missions on 2 AI agents (currently Claude and Gemini); Monitor runs 15 standard missions plus up to 3 optional ones on each agent. Every answer is checked against what your store actually publishes.

What if nothing breaks?

Then we tell you so, and the check costs you nothing. If nothing is fixable on your side, we say that too. On Monitor, green weeks mean no emails from us.

Will you change my live store?

Not without your approval. Theme-level fixes are drafted on an unpublished preview theme and re-tested there. Policy wording and product data stay in your hands: you paste the wording we give you. Nothing goes live until you approve it with one tap, and every kept fix can be rolled back.

Who's behind this: FixTheBuy is run by Done Yesterday, LLC (a US company, run from Portugal). Every report is checked before it's sent. Reply to any email and a person answers.
